RIASECよりこっち！

サビカス輪読会のキャリア構築インタビューでは２番目の質問の「お気に入りの雑誌、テレビ番組、ウェブサイトを3つ」からクライエントの興味・関心と現在の仕事や活動の環境のタイプの類似性とを確かめます。場合によればここでホランドのRIASECを用いても良いとありました。

どうやら”Career Construction Counseling Manual”によるとサビカスの師匠Holland先生は、このように記述しているそうです。

Realistic types are doers who show interest in working outdoors or with machines.
Investigative types are thinkers who show interest in science and technology.
Artistic types are creators who show interest in art, music, and writing.
Social types are helpers who show interest in teaching and communicating.
Enterprising types are leaders who show interest in managing and persuading.
Conventional types are team members who show interest in organizing and maintaining.

実は、前からこのタイプの名称がしっくりこないです。特にRealistic types（現実的なタイプ）やEnterprising types（起業的なタイプ）、Conventional types（慣習的なタイプ）が、何か他者的で批評家的な冷たい視線を感じてました。

そんな時に輪読会参加者の先輩のBunさんが

Investigative types は　 Thinkers 　考える人　科学や技術に興味
Artistic types は　 Creators 　クリエイター　芸術や音楽、著作に興味
Social types は　 Helpers 　援助者　教えることや伝えることに興味
Enterprising types は　Leaders 　リーダー　マネジメントや追求に興味
Conventional types は team Members　チーム構成員　組織造りやその維持に興味

個人的には、RIASEC（リアセック）よりこっちの方が職業イメージが湧きやすいです。
ただDTCHLM（ドッチルム）は惜しい！
